LABOR DAY FUN-FLY Proudly Sponsored by: The Blue Ridge Mtns of NC cordially invite you to attend a two day fun-fly and crash clinic located in Arden / Asheville, NC. Home of the highly acclaimed Erickson Flight Skool and Heliheads flying field, we welcome anyone willing to sacrifice their helicopters in the pursuit of a good time. The event will start Friday, August 29th at 5pm and continue through Sunday August 31st 5pm. We have limited space for camper / rec vehicles - no hook ups. A $10.00 landing fee for pilots will include a Saturday feast. Mr. Henry Caldwell a graduate student from EFS will be on hand to demonstrate all his skills obtained during his tenure at EFS, as well as other notable pilots and instructors!! I will post directions and lodging locations later. This is a helicopter only event due to limited space at our field. I have contacted Will James and hope to have the Helifreak Gang on hand to record the impending chaos and crashing that is most expected at this humble event. RSVP's are welcome and appreciated. For those that may actually think that they are coming to this event to learn something about flying -- you are sadly mistaken! We hope folks will take advantage of the long Labor day weekend and come join us. For the wives and kids we are but 5 miles from the Biltmore Estate and 3 miles off the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway.
